Education
Ph.D. 1992, Physical Limnology/Oceanography, Institute for Lake Research, Russian Academy of Science, St. Petersburg
M.S. 1982, Marine Engineering, Russian Hydrometeorological Institute, St. Petersburg
My research is in geophysical fluid dynamics. I am currently working on numerical modeling of coastal hydrodynamics and sediment transport. I am also developing coastal nowcast/forecast systems.
