Another successful Great Lakes Bowl took place on Saturday, February 4!
About 200 students, coaches, and volunteers converged at the School of Natural Resources and Environment on Saturday to participate in the 15th annual Great Lakes Bowl, one of the 25 regional competitions of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl.
The Dexter High School team won the competition, who will now advance to the finals competition in Baltimore coming up in April.
CILER coordinated the event, but it could not have been pulled off without the help of many dedicated competition room officials and hospitality staff! Many organizations were represented, including SNRE, CILER, GLERL, MI Sea Grant, Mich. Tech. Research Institute, USGS-Great Lakes Science Center, the Great Lakes Fishery Commission, and U of M's College of Engineering.
