Research Interests
My dissertation research examines the ecological consequences of seasonal hypolimnetic hypoxia (The Dead Zone) in Lake Erie. Specifically, I am investigating the effects (behavioral, physiological, and inter-specific) of hypoxia on yellow perch (Perca flavescens) and other benthic species of the Lake Erie fish assemblage.
