CIGLR administers a competitive Postdoctoral Fellowship program that provides salary and research support for Postdoctoral Fellows to work closely with a CIGLR University Partner and a GLERL scientist on a project of mutual interest. Through an annual call for proposals, CIGLR provides 1 year of funding ($48,000 + 25% fringe) for up to 2 post-doctoral fellows per year. Funding priority is given to projects that link with NOAA research scientists and University Partners who can provide a matching 2nd year of funding. Interested postdocs should contact a University Partner Principal Investigator to develop a proposal.

Additional Postdoctoral Support Opportunities
When funds are available and research interests align, CIGLR will consider providing 1 year of funding to support a postdoctoral researcher who is need of an extension of existing funds. The funding must be issued to a University Partner; thus, interested postdocs should contact a University Partner Principal Investigator to begin the proposal process. University Partners may contact CIGLR Director Brad Cardinale (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
